EM 1351 - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Hours: 1 The 16 hour provider course is designed to educate the advanced level healthcare provider in the theory and techniques of managing the critically ill pediatric patient. The algorithm approach to management of pediatric emergencies will be taught. Course should be repeated every two years, according to the American Heart Association standards. An AHA PALS Provider card will be issued upon successful completion.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of EM 1011 within past 2 years of Instructor approval
