RAD 105 - Radiographic Procedures I *

Hours: 5
Radiologic Technology laboratory study is utlilized in this course to demonstrate clinical applications of theoretical principles and concepts. The students learns how to perform radiologic procedures of the chest, abdomen, pelvis, and upper and lower extremity. Positioning techniques to achieve quality radiographs are discussed, along with associated anatomy, pathology, and special studies. The college offers this course as part of the Radiologic Technology program through partnership with the Rolla School District.  Only students accepted and enrolled through the Rolla Technical Center are allowed entry in to this course which is instructed by Rolla Technical Center faculty.
