RAD 104 - Patient Care in Radiologic Science *

Hours: 4
Radiologic Technology laboratory study is utilized in this course to demonstrate clinical applications of theoretical principles and concepts. Student learns concepts, medical ethics, and patient care including  consideration of physical and psychological conditions, routine and emergency patient care procedures, the role of the radiographer in patient education, and the special aspects of death and dying. CPR certification will be achieved. The college offers this course as part of the Radiologic Technology program through partnership with the Rolla School District. Only students accepted and enrolled through the Rolla Technical Center are
allowed entry in to this course which is instructed by Rolla Technical Center Faculty. To pursue program admittance students may call 573-458-0160 for information.
