Nursing and Allied Health Division Programs
The Nursing and Allied Health Division is responsible for the administration of all the College nursing education options, both on the main campus and at ECC-Rolla. Nursing at East Central College has full approval by the Missouri State Board of Nursing (MSBN).
In addition, the division oversees the EMT/Paramedic program and the Fire Technology Program.
The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program, offered as part of the Missouri Health Professions Consortium in cooperation with the University of Missouri - Columbia, is part of the Allied Health Division.
At ECC-Rolla, the College offers degree programs in partnership with Rolla Technical Center (RTC). Program coursework in both Radiological Technology and Respiratory Care is offered by RTC and fully articulated into an AAS degree with East Central College.
Many of the programs in this division have selective admissions criteria. Also, for many of these programs admissions and/or enrollment are contingent upon criminal background checks and drug screenings.
The Nursing and Allied Health Division also works with students interested in transfer coursework to a baccalaureate nursing program or other health services field.
