EMS 202 - Paramedic 3 Clinical Hours: 1 The clinical part of the first half of a course which provides education in emergency care and advanced life support techniques for the sick and injured. This course is in a series that prepares the student for competent practice as an entry-level paramedic. Course includes didactic skills laboratory, and practical experiences. Topics this semester include: cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, endocrinology, toxicology, and trauma assessment and treatment.
Prerequisite: EMS 152 , EMS 162 and EMS 161 ; minimum grade C Corequisite: EMS 201
