ENG 146 - Literature of Science Fiction

A study of the development of science fiction, especially in the 20th century, as a mature literary form. Students will read a broad cross-section of literature from the genre, and analyze the political, social, and historical significance of the works as well as the impact on science, media, and culture.

Prerequisite: ENG 101 or ENG 114, minimum grade C
