LWE 151 - Defensive Tactics for Law Enforcement

This course will introduce concepts of defensive tactics and use of force techniques for students pursuing a career in law enforcement. Additional topics include handcuffing and restraint devices, control techniques, active defense measures, weapon retention and disarming, ground fighting techniques, and mechanics of arrest and control. Students will apply knowledge gained in use of force application scenarios.
