MUC 223 - Principles of Music Education

Hours: 3
Introductory course for prospective music educators that focuses on minimum 20 hours field experience lesson and assessment planning, the role of music in the schools, and ethical and legal practices of general music, band, orchestra, and choirs and develop a personal philosophy of music education. 

Prerequisite: ENG 101 - English Comp I
