Associate of Arts Accounting Guided Pathway to Success
Accounting is a crucial part of every business operation and the language that businesses speak. The associate of applied science degree program focuses on practical skills often required for entry-level accounting positions. Students in their first year will have classes in basic accounting principles, while second year students take managerial, cost and tax accounting. Two-year graduates may find positions as general bookkeepers, accounting clerks and accounts receivable or payable specialists.
Extra-Curricular/Co-curricular Opportunities at ECC
All Business Pathway students have an opportunity to participate in DECA. ECC-DECA has competed regionally and nationally enjoying trips to Washington D. C. and New York.
