Medical Assistant-Certificate of Achievement
The Medical Assistant-Certificate of Achievement coursework will transfer into the Associate of Applied Science-Medical Assistant. Students will be required to complete an additional 21 credit hours in Medical Assistant coursework to be eligible for an Associate of Applied Science-Medical Assistant.

The ECC Medical Assistant Program is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP - www.caahep.org) - upon the recommendation of Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB).
Please Note: All MDA Program requirements must be met with a minimum grade of a “C” or better with the exception of: MDA 112 and 213
which must have a minimum grade of “B” or better, and MDA 223 which must have a grade of “Pass.”
