IND 174 - Maintenance Welding Hours: 3 Maintenance Welding provides instruction in the basic welding skills necessary to perform repairs commonly required in manufacturing. The course provides and introduction to welding processes, machine setup, safety and workplace preparation. Processes cover are stick (SMAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding of steel. Student who are able to master the required skills will also have the opportunity to learn TIG (GTAW) welding and weld other materials such as aluminum or stainless steel.
