The Certificate of Achievement in Business is designed to get you noticed by today’s business leaders. Students will acquire critical thinking and communication skills, as well as an understanding of business ethics. The certificate will introduce students to the topics of management, marketing, accounting, communications, and computer science. This pathway is designed for the student to graduate and directly enter the job market, or to improve an existing career. Students may also use the certificate as a steppingstone in their pursuit of an Associate of Applied Science in Business at ECC requiring an additional 29 credit hours of study. In addition, the certificate may be paired with a degree in another discipline such as Accounting.
Extra-Curricular/Cocurricular Opportunities at ECC: All business students have an opportunity to participate in DECA. ECC-DECA has competed regionally and nationally enjoying trips to Washington D.C., Orlando and New York.
