Radiologic Technology, AAS


The Radiologic Technology program is offered at the ECC Rolla campus. Students will learn to use state of the art equipment and ionizing radiation to produce diagnostic images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and disease. Graduates of the Radiologic Technology program will receive an Associate of Applied Science degree and sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, a national certification examination. Radiologic technologists find opportunities in several areas: general medical and surgical hospital, physicians’ offices, outpatient care centers, and medical and diagnostic laboratories.

Prerequisites/General Education: A selective admission process is utilized. Students must have a “C” or better in prerequisite coursework, a minimum GPA of 2.5, score above the 50th percentile on the TEAS exam, and complete 8 hours of job shadowing. Students must successfully complete all components of each course, each semester to successfully move onto the next semester/course.
