Class Piano sequence of small group instruction in piano, is limited to 12 students per class. The courses range from beginning through late intermediate levels and are designed to develop skills and techniques applicable to all keyboard styles. Class Piano V is designed for students at the late intermediate level of technical skill. Students will be assigned individual pieces from the various eras of classical repertoire (Baroque through 20th Century). All students will work on technical and functional materials in a progressive, orderly manner. Performance dates and locations will be announced at the beginning of the semester, or as soon as possible.
Prerequisite: One semester of Applied Guitar is recommended. Student must have basic sight-reading skills and technique.
