PHL 111 - Introduction to Logic   Hours: 3  This course introduces tools for thinking and reasoning effectively. The course will focus on using formal methods to distinguish between good and bad arguments in rhetoric, media, advertising, and political discourse. Students will also study decision-making strategies and research techniques. Logic partially fulfills the humanities requirement for the Associate of Arts and Associate of Arts in Teaching degrees.
