MDA 121 - Medical Ethics for Healthcare Professionals Hours: 3 This course is designed to introduce and provide the student with a broad understanding of legal and ethical issues facing the healthcare industry. Current issues and trends related to ethical and legal healthcare practice and decision-making will be discussed and debated, as well as, state and federal healthcare regulations. Students will achieve 100 percent of course designated MAERB core competent ices for this course. Students must maintain a grade of C or higher to successfully pass this course.
