This course introduces the fundamental concepts of constitutional law for students pursuing a career in law enforcement. Topics covered include an introduction to legal blocks and criminal process, rules of evidence, admissions, confessions, and Miranda rights, arrest procedures, search and seizures, prisoner rights and privileges, and peace officer liability.
