ED 2123 - Teaching Professional/Field Experience

Hours: 3
The course is designed to introduce students to the requirements for teacher preparation and certification. In addition, students will examine characteristics of effective teaching. The course is also intended to assist students in determining if a career in teaching is an appropriate goal.

Lecture/Laboratory: The course consists of both a lecture and field experience/observation in P-12 classrooms.
Prerequisite: EN 1223  
Prerequisite/Corequisite: ED 2003
