Biblical history from the Division of the Kingdom after Solomon and the destruction of Israel through the Babylonian Exile until the end of the Old Testament period. This course offers a critical-historical survey of the Old Testament as literature. Emphasis is placed upon the different modern approaches to Biblical writings. It is designed to help the student appreciate the Bible as great literature from a critical point of view.glb
