NR 2015 - Nursing of Adults/Children II Lecture Hours: 5.5 This course is designed for the student to apply previously learned scientific knowledge and nursing skills while caring for adults and children across the life span with complex behavioral health and medical-surgical disease processes. Complex skills and concepts are introduced as well as the integration of maternal-newborn nursing. The application of the nursing process is broadened to meet the complex needs of the patient and family. Emphasis is placed on reduction of risk potential, physiological adaptations, and health promotion and maintenance.
Prerequisite: NR 1035 & NR 1045 , minimum grade C Prerequisite/Corequisite: BI 1314 , minimum grade C and one of the following: HI 1103 , HI 1203 , HI 1303 , PS 1103 , PS 1203 (as well as HI 1000 or PS 1000 ) Corequisite: NR 2035
