* Appropriate electives include literature, writing, foreign language, civilization, journalism, art or music courses.
**Students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree are traditionally required to have 12 to 15 hours of foreign language coursework. Building a foreign language sequence into a degree plan should be considered after checking with the transfer institution. Students should consult their advisor about suggested electives.
***Either the Life Science or Physical Science requirement must contain a lab.
