Associate of Arts Degree
East Central College offers an Associate of Arts degree for students who are uncertain in their plans for study at a transfer, baccalaureate institution. Associate of Arts students must meet a minimum 60 credits, minimum 2.0 CGPA, and fulfill all general education and elective coursework within the Associate of Arts degree program. Students interested in transferring into a program at the university level are encouraged to contact the transfer institution early to locate courses needed for their program of choice at the university level. Below are some general suggestions of courses to complete general education requirements and electives to complete within 2 years.
The following course of study is for a full-time student and will assist the student in completing the degree within four terms.
East Central College offers several pathways for students transferring into one of the following areas at the university. It is recommended students contact the university of transfer for courses to take at East Central in the pathway elective area, however, the following pathways provide some general guidelines on suggested courses to consider if transferring into a desired pathway at the university.
