MU 1613 - Music Theory I (Written)

Hours: 3
A beginning course in music theory, study of intervals, triads, four-part diatonic harmony, connection of triads, embellishing tones, and inversions. Sight singing, aural recognition of all diatonic intervals, melodic phrases, and rhythms are studied. Includes two hours aural theory per week.

Prerequisite: No prerequisite.
