RA 1103 - Radiographic Procedures I * Hours: 3 The student learns how to perform radiographic procedures of the chest, abdomen, pelvis, and upper and lower extremity. Positioning techniques to achieve quality radiographs are discussed, along with associated anatomy, pathology, and special studies. Laboratory study is utilized in this unit to demonstrates clinical applications of theoretical principles and concepts. The college offers this course as part of the Radiologic Technology program through partnership with the Rolla School District. Only students accepted and enrolled through the Rolla Technical Center are allowed entry in to this course which is instructed by Rolla Technical Center faculty.
