CT 1112 - Acting Practicum-Supporting Role

Hours: 2
Acting Practicum-Supporting Role is a course whereby a student is cast in a play in a supporting role that is integral to the plot and development of the other characters onstage involved in a production. Course work requires the student to memorize lines, show up for 6-7 weeks of rehearsal for 3 hours each night, take direction, and culminate with acting in the production during the run. Supporting roles also require the actor to meet with the director and lead role actors for development of blocking/character/conflict at such time other than regularly scheduled rehearsals.

Prerequisite: Instructor consent only. Student may enroll after casting.
