CT 2113 - Introduction to Public Relations

Hours: 3
Students will explore the practice of public relations, strategic communication, and publicity. Topics include media research and theory, ethics and laws, opinion formation, media relations and crisis management. Students will create stategic communication plans, press releases, and other pieces as well as examine best practices through case studies and scenarios.

Gen Ed Skill Type: WRT, VAL, HFA
Prerequisite: EN 1223  or EN 1233
