Associate of Arts - Liberal Studies Guided Pathway to Success

The Liberal Studies Pathway is designed to provide broad exploration of social sciences, natural sciences, humanities and the arts.  Liberal studies coursework gives students an opportunity to explore a variety of future career paths. This pathway emphasizes effective verbal and written communication while promoting creative and critical thinking, and highlighting social responsibility.

A liberal studies degree can lead to careers in a variety of fields including, but not limited to, management, communications, research, and law

Extra-Curricular/Co-curricular Opportunities at ECC: Student Media, National Association for Music Education, Phi Theta Kappa, Student Government Association, Rotaract.

Elective Options:

*CORE 42 Electives:  Any ECC course approved for Missouri’s CORE 42.  A CORE 42 course can be identified in the course description by the CORE 42 designation.  For additional information, please contact your advisor or visit:
