Return to: Education, Social Science, and Humanities Division
Overview
EAST CENTRAL COLLEGE offers a broad range of programs within the area of social and behavioral science. As a field, social and behavioral science explores the connections between such fundamental concerns as human developmental, social behavior and historical analysis. As part of this area’s course offerings, students will be asked to think critically about these and other connections and effectively communicate their ideas.
Each program within the ECC Social and Behavioral Science Meta-Major is designed as a two-year transfer degree. These degrees can ultimately lead down a number of different career paths, from law enforcement and social work to educational and clinical fields, or to jobs at museums and other cultural institutions.
